CEREC

With the CEREC system, we offer you state-of-the-art dentistry that is precise, efficient and convenient. CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) enables dental restorations to be produced directly in the dental practice – without having to go through an external laboratory. Thanks to computer-aided design/manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, you benefit from dentures that fit perfectly and can be used immediately.

Basic principle of CEREC technology

CEREC focusses on digital precision:

  • Digital impression: Instead of unpleasant impression materials, your dental situation is captured with a 3D scanner.
  • Computer-aided design: The dental prosthesis is designed and customised on the screen.
  • Direct fabrication: A high-performance machine mills the dentures directly in the practice from a ceramic block.
  • Insertion in one session: The treatment is usually completed after just one appointment.

Areas of application of CEREC

The versatile technology is ideal for:

  • Inlays and onlays
  • crowns
  • veneers
  • Partial crowns
  • Small bridges
  • Temporary restorations

Whether you are looking for functional stability or aesthetic perfection – CEREC offers you an optimal solution.

Your benefits with CEREC

Time saving: Dentures in just one appointment – no further visits necessary.

Comfort: No conventional moulding, no unpleasant gagging.

Precision: High accuracy of fit thanks to digital technology.

Aesthetics: Natural colour matching and high-quality ceramic for a perfect result.

Immediate availability: No temporary dentures required.

The CEREC treatment procedure

  1. Digital image: Your dental situation is precisely recorded using a 3D scanner.
  2. Design: A model of your denture is created on the computer and discussed with you.
  3. Manufacture: A ceramic block is milled directly in the practice for a precise fit.
  4. Try-in and insertion: The finished denture is checked for fit and permanently inserted.

Costs and reimbursement

The costs for CEREC dentures vary depending on the scope of treatment:

  • Inlay/Onlay: 500 – 800 €
  • Crown: 500 – 1,000 €

While statutory health insurance companies generally only reimburse a proportion of the costs, private insurance companies often cover a larger proportion. The investment in CEREC is worthwhile due to its quality, precision and longevity.

Materials and quality

We use high-quality ceramic materials for your dentures, which offer the following advantages:

  • Wide range of colour options: Perfectly matched to your natural tooth colour.
  • Durability: High resistance and long durability.
  • Biocompatibility: Particularly well tolerated and suitable for allergy sufferers.
